Sugar Therapy…because stressed is desserts spelled backwards!

Welcome to Sugar Therapy, a cottage bakery in Rochester, MN!

Let me share a bit about the inspiration behind the name; I’m a fan of treats as a pick me up lol. My husband had/has a wonderful habit of surprising me with sweet treats whenever I was feeling down 😆.

The idea of “Sugar Therapy” also resonates deeply with me during this time of life changes. After dedicating 18 years to my career as a nurse—an occupation I cherished—I faced health challenges that made it impossible for me to continue in that role. Leaving my dream job was devastating, and I needed a new outlet that would keep me engaged and provide a sense of purpose. Since I’ve always had a passion for baking and art, I decided to venture into the world of cottage baking.

Baking has become my personal escape, a way to relieve stress and express my creativity through decorating. There’s something incredibly joyful about playing my favorite tunes while whipping up beautiful and delicious confections that are sure to bring smiles to others' faces.

I specialize in cake pops and offer many other dessert options as well; mini cakes, dipped treats, mini donuts, cupcakes, cookies, novelty treats and more.

I love following up with my customers and ensure they are more than happy with their order. Details matter and I treat every order as if it was for my own gathering. I can’t wait to talk with you and bring your vision to life!

* orders always require a minimum of one dozen and after that any amount may be ordered.

* Please provide at least two weeks notice to ensure availability and appropriate ingredients. Orders placed with less than five days notice will incur a $20 rush fee.
